A lot of times I cringe when I see what I said or wore so many years ago, but in this 1992 article in a small, queer film periodical, I thought I was pretty on-the-money when I said, “There are voices of reason that you don’t hear in the media. Voices of reasons aren’t very glamorous or attention-getting.” I think it’s more true today than ever.
